Here are two new features in teams that will improve your video conference capabilities.
For those that telecommute, using video and screen sharing is an important tool to help stay connected with your colleagues however, at times you may not want to share your workspace on video. Now with Teams you can blur your background – I tried this new feature and it works great. Now no matter where you are there is no longer an excuse not to turn on video.
What teams lacked until now was the ability to screen share in a private instant message chat – something that we had the ability to do since the office communicator days. With private chat screen sharing coming to teams you no longer need to fire up your meeting software just to share your screen with a colleague you are already chatting with in teams. Just click the Share button in the top right hand corner.
